Adult Respiratory Humidification Seminar - Bristol

28 Apr 09:00 AM - 04:30 PM
This seminar, for up to 25 delegates, will review the physiology of the respiratory system in a normal intact adult airway and the role humidification plays in maintaining normal respiratory function. Changes to the airway as a consequence of diseases, both acute and chronic, are discussed and the clinical benefits of optimal humidity are presented in invasive/noninvasive therapies.
Innovations in respiratory care, such as Nasal High Flow Therapy are discussed in depth, followed by group work to gain insight and share ideas and experiences.
This event is aimed at staff who work across the respiratory care continuum, with patients from the Emergency Department, Intensive Care areas and Respiratory wards, into the Homecare setting.
To support our commitment to education this day is free of charge and inclusive of all refreshments and lunch.
